Call for examination of Tipp clubs bringing in coaches from outside the county

first_imgThe County Board Chairman is calling for ‘a higher body’ to deal with the phenomenon of clubs bringing in ‘outside’ coaches.According to Michael Bourke ‘sizeable money’ is being paid to those brought in to try and improve teams.He believes the trend is particularly prevalent among clubs competing for the county senior hurling champions. However, the Upperchurch-Drombane club man says investing in external help doesn’t always pay dividends.last_img
