Also, I thought ‘acoustic’ simply meant “without power”. The few acoustic shows I’ve seen (Unplugged), were rarely just the singer and an instrument. But typically a few people with “non powered” instruments. The fact that the “band will be there minus the drummer” doesn’t answer if it’ll be an acoustic show. The wife told me we were going either way, so I’m looking forward to an electrifying show (pun intended). The stage is being set to accomodate a full band. However, as is the case with most bands and individual acts on tour, there are a lot of factors that go into who performs at a show. This band will be playing at Wellington on Friday and will be in Riverside, Iowa the next night. The speculation started when it stated “acoustic concert” on the official John Michael Montgomery website. Why it said that is something Moralez chose not to speculate.A phone call to the John Michel Montgomery publicist was not returned.“We are going to guarantee it will be a great show,” Moralez said. “Where else can you see a big name such as this for as low as price as $10 a ticket?”For all the information about the show, click here.last_img
